Maebee lost her leg on Tuesday. So we’re 3 days post op today. Today was a good day, bringing her home was a little rough for a mommas fragile soul, but her recovery has been smooth so far. We know it’s early but we are hoping this is a sign of what’s in front of us and that Maebees strength will carry her through these tough days. Her best friend made her some after surgery shirts and grandma bought her a totally appropriate non vulgar bandana to wear proud next her cool scar. 😎
